Subject: We're not talking about backline generally tho but Moore's specific contribution

No backline has been more under siege in last couple/few yrs than WCE yet McGovern and Barrass usually stand up.

Among the better performed teams of recent years, Andrews' form held up this year when Brisbane overall was playing like a bottom 6 (or 8) team.

Or Weitering consistently performing well when Blues were poor year after year.

Tom Stewart, like Moore, plays an attacking game for a marking KD. Admittedly Geelong have been a strong team during most of his career but he's rarely not performed to his normal capability even when Geelong has had poor games.

Maybe Moore is carrying an injury, or at least soreness. I'm just saying his form - regardless of circumstances - this year hasn't, overall, been what we (are entitled to) expect from him, even allowing for the very telling absence of Murphy.

IMHO, Quaynor's form has been OK but below his norm. He's come under scrutiny for it from some quarters. I just reckon Darcy has largely escaped scrutiny.
