It’s within the rules, why not leverage it as a competitive advantage

I get the impression, Fly, a great connector, motivator, relationship guy, relies on others for footy strategy (Leppa) and game day moving of magnets (Leppa & Bolts, 22/23).

Both of those guys are ex-senior coaches and will not have come cheap. I’m fine with Fly surrounding himself with other skill sets but we shouldn’t dilute capability on the recruiting /talent ID & list management side of things, which looks like it may have happened since Covid without any dedicated efforts to rebuild that capability.

Just pay the damn tax and bring in some more bodies re talent ID, expand the network, build some decent models re talent ID & perf, profile the entire list of junior & mature age players. …
