Just watching the swarming Hawks yesterday ….young , strong bodied , quick moving and good ball users makes one reflect on where we are likely to be at next year
Watson 19, Day 23, D’Ambrosio ( definitely a future mid) 22 , and Newcombe 23

And also the Swans
Warner x 2 20 and 23 Gulden 22 plus established senior mids

Nick can’t do it all so we must find hard running , hard bodied mids with skill to support him , fully anticipating that Mitch, Pendles, Sidey may need to adapt to different roles

Where is the speed coming from to match these teams ?
