GW, who in Fly's own words, was a key part of our club's success in the last 2-3 years and a massive support & friend to Fly

GW, easily "the" key in exiting bucks with some dignity and recruiting an untried senior coach in Fly

GW, deemed that important to our footy operations he was afforded a sabbatical in-season

now, no sooner has he returned from that sabbatical and heā€™s about to land a senior footy role down in Tassie or with the afl

the reasoning put forward that he's worn out, simply doesn't wash!!

he was worn out, sure, but took a break whilst on the club's payroll and now re-invigorated / re-energised, he's leaving .. ??

so, without taking any notice of the broom-stick, letā€™s simply quote directly from cement-head himself .. of his current relationship with Wright, Kelly said: ā€œWe havenā€™t spoken for a while.ā€ GW reported directly into the CEO; if nothing else, even in finishing up from his ā€˜consultantā€™ role, why would they have not spoken?

clearly thereā€™s been a falling out of some sort, clearly ā€œthisā€ more than the ā€˜worn outā€™ angle is at the heart of why GW is leaving.

I was unimpressed when Browne went down a well-worn JFTB path to appoint Kelly and, for mine, that concern still lingers.

If Kelly (and his mini-Ed ego) have been unable to work with GW, a guy heā€™s known for 30+ years, what other pearls does he have in-store for us moving forward
