are so specific that you doubt that they're made up. I'm sure we've all experienced workplace situations where the power distribution was disproportionate.

It's a different world today to the one that 60 year old privileged white males like Kelly grew up in.

Kelly appears to be brash, domineering and direct. He probably still thinks that stuff that used to pass muster in 1990s locker rooms is still appropriate today.

I worked in a large successful organisation in the 1990s where I recall a senior female executive who was assertive in approach being told by a male counterpart "Are you on the rag today?". Just one example of discrimination and questionable comments that were de rigeur back in the day.

I'm sure Kelly is a no BS operator and from the outside appears to have done well for The Club.
But that becomes a huge liability if he's unfamilar with words like inclusion, collaboration and delegation.

No way is this a spirited defence of Cleaver. It appears that he struggled with timelines and deliverables. Can see why Kelly got frustrated. Pity that his frustrations and resultant actions have now reached a wider audience.
