More so that Port are paying overs and probably have a spot for him.

I like what I've seen from him too, don't get me wrong.

But I don't think he's done enough for a 4 year deal on decent coin. He may prove to be worth it but it's too early to tell, imo. He's also behind a few at the pies, currently. Would be relying on injuries to get a game.

The 2 year deal from the Pies makes sense. Gives him time to live up to his potential and earn that bigger payday. Gives the pies an out if he doesn't live up to it.

But I wouldn't begrudge him leaving given his age and job security. The extra 2 years is guaranteed at Port and he potentially gets more gametime there. Has to do right by himself.
