Subject: A lot of our players kick more poorly than Noble...but they seem to escape criticism
In reply to: JtP 's message, "I'm a Noble agnostic." on 14:07 13/09/24 Fri

For example, how many of our forwards have routinely missed goals from, not only short distances and with little angle to speak of, but from "set" shots after a mark or kick when there's no physical pressure on them?

Yep...Noble fluffs a fair few kicks, but these ra eoften taken from a congested situation, or at the end of a gut-busting run.

The allowances I would give guys who shank a kick, but who have the legs that have clocked up the metres in a game, would definitely outweigh shanked kicks from set shot situations.
