If you actually look through their list. There's not many "stars" on it. Lots of good players. But not the sort that we think of when we think huge contract players.

Collingwood have names like DeGoey, N.Daicos, Moore, Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Howe, Elliot, Maynard... We know McStay is on good coin (or was when we signed him). We've just brought in Perryman on 850-900k depending on who you believe. And we still seem to have more cap space available for other recruits.

Re. Geelongs new recruits. Martin won't cost much. Smith probably won't either, he's not in that upper echelon of players. Oliver at his best is worth a big contract but we don't know the terms of the deal - maybe Melbourne pays some of it just to get rid of him.
