That aside the several “ other” gaps are

A second Darcy Moore type to play FB
In addition Checkers should be weighed up as the Murphy replacement in Defence …not tall but understands what Frammers doesn’t ..ie the meaning if “ body on body”

Surely one of the retained ( apparently ) Ash and Freddie K can hold a kf role

Next cabs as alternatives might be Steene or Smit . I read that the former has a huge leap and the latter relishes physical contests despite being very young

As for adding to the MF strength ….anyone here who saw CFC VFL listed player
SPARKES who I think was recommended via J. Blair ( who also recommended Hutchinson , picked up mid year by WCE ) ? Sparkes was mentioned in best players regularly
