If all we are giving up is Noble (which becomes pick 12), and our future 1st (which we want to get rid of anyway because of McGuane) then maybe it's not so bad.

I would hope we get something back in the 2nd round so we can at least attempt to address some of our other needs in the draft. Mainly KPP at either end.

The midfield is probably okay for the time being with DeGoey and Mitchell to return - and the inclusion of Perryman. Allan also coming along, hopefully. Next year there are also some big names on the free agency market that could nab us a star midfielder. McGuane also likely to be selected.

If we walk out of this trade and draft period with Perryman, Houston, a KPP draftee or 2, then I'd say we've done pretty well.

We'd up a stronger team, imo.

DeGoey, Mitchell, Mihocek, McStay, Houston, Perryman as inclusions to our R24 side that smacked Melbourne... A lot of clubs would kill for that.

Can only hope Jiath, Allan, Eyre, Dean, Macrae and McInnes put in big pre-seasons and start to command a spot too.
