Of course I'd want to shaft the club for which I became a premiership player, which gave me a profile that ultimately allowed me to develop and operate a successful player management company that made me incredibly wealthy.

And of course I'd love to shaft a club for which I'm employed as CEO as shafting said club obviously impacts on performance and would put significant pressure on my position.

And in my involvement for 40 years in top level AFL, first as a player and then as a player manager, I think I've developed a keen appreciation as to attributes essential in becoming an AFL footballer and sustaining an AFL career. Unfortunately my beloved son Will had very few of those requisite traits so his delisting came as no surprise. The only surprise was that he stayed on the list for 2 years longer than he should have.

But screw all that logic, let's shaft the club anyway!
