You're not wrong there.

I remember looking at the Lions teams back in the early 2000's and being blown away by how stacked with talent they were on every line.

I'm not saying our team is the same quality or age profile. But comparable in the sense that everywhere you look, we have a very good player occupying that space.

That is of course our best possible team I'm talking about, not team week to week that gets affected by injury and suspension. And doesn't account for drops in form - but also doesn't account for the potential rise of players like Allan, Jiath, etc.

I don't begrudge us going "all in" when the list is as strong as it is. We'd be silly not to.

I just hope the motivation to strike while the iron is hot is there for the players as much as it is for the list managers and fans. It's only been a year since they won a flag afterall.
