We get one day game in Melbourne.

Won't worry some, but it does me on many levels:

Pubs are closing so no gloating beers post game and pre's induce a bladder bursting, stopping all stations, hour long train ride home.

The earliest night game is 7.30 so a late, hyped up from battle, restive retirement is inevitable.

The temptation to watch from the magic sleeping couch comes into play after either local footy or a day completing the chores set by my supervisor.

I might have to move back into Richmond so I can stop for a few quiet Dougie Gotts on the walk home.
