afl's puppeteer is the broadcast media!

the afl dance exactly like they're instructed to, esp when it comes to fixturing

the argument that the broadca$t media'$ black n white golden goo$e will NOT be leveraged to maximi$e revenue is totally futile

competition-wide, the fixture is laughable, full-stop.

no other sport in the world manufactures such a bizarrely lop-sided & uneven competition from the get-go and tries to pass it off as a level playing field where each of the teams has a remotely equal chance of 'winning' ..

this is the argument to be made, not the club level version

play each team once in order to qualify and then move to finals or extended finals

anything else is an embarrassing side (or shit) show depending on context
