One was a plantar fascia, a tendon injury that was fixed with surgery.
He was fully fit last year after the surgery and only missed the end of season with an appendix op.

This injury is a bone stress injury not fracture. In a different part of the foot.

My guess, I stress my guess.
Caused by training on hard floors in America in his off season adventures.

Now 5 weeks till training starts again sure he will be fine.
