Marbu and Uzzie were never intended to not score at all. That they did not look like scoring is attributable to Bumrah bowling as much to Australian batsmen intent.

"More Attakcing Minset" is not magic thing. Marsh, Head with that attacking intent had many failures in the series.

Batting is risk management neither attack of defend is risk free and judging when to defend and when to attack is a key skill, sometimes excessive attack is a good strategy sometimes excessive defense is a good stratgy. In Adelaide McWSeeeny and Labusachnage set up Head by defensive batting through the poor batting conditions to get Head and the rest of the Australian bats to the better conditions.

Austrlian batsmen did not find any consistent method of dealing with Bumrah.
