Subject: Longley isn't a rare example
In reply to: Pyeman WPBD 's message, "What a great example! Every team has a Michael Jordan, some of them two!!" on 10:00 05/02/25 Wed

Every team and sport has its role players and blokes well below Longley on the food chain who aren't stars or spend heaps of time on the bench or in reserveres. NBA teams tend to have about 12 of them on their roster.

Considering your opinion that players should be miserable when they aren't getting game time and don't have the right attitude if they are willing to do bench time or be a reserve player who doesn't get a game, you should send a letter to Josh Inglis and tell him he's a loser who has not got the right attitude as he's continued to play long form cricket despite years on tours not playing.

I don't think Condon will get drafted, but your commentary that it would suck to play NBA if you're not one of the stars or have to do a stack of bench time is odd. Are you expecting him to finish high in the bnf in his early years, if he does come to us?
