Depends on how keen Dees are to move him on.

If they want him completely off their books, ie. the entire contract, then a round 2 pick (ala Grundy trade) would get it done.

The greater % of salary they pay probably elevates the quality of draft picks they get in return.

I reckon Petracca stays at Dees because Dees will ask too much in return for a 30yo.

BtW, it's why the Oliver trade to Geelong fell through. I suspect they wanted Cats to take full contract and cough up up 1st round picks. No chance of that.
