You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out that there are players at Port who are not a fan of the handover, Butters is one of them.

No doubt in our favour is we have Houston to help lure him to us. The question then becomes draft capital.

The way I see it, Maynard becomes a key pillar, as his compo would secure us a first rounder. And perhaps why the club is not budging on how much we are willing to pay.

Trading our future first also is possible, the club is hoping we can go out two years and not one. Or we could trade out someone with genuine currency, like Cameron or Hill, assuming they are looking to move.

IMO I wouldn't do it, as Cameron is under rated, but the club knows best and we must be up to something given we are resigning players rapidly.
