Gave away depth, a first rounder and refused to put much faith in the draft, instead choosing to rake over the slag heap after everyone else had gone home. Maybe the cards just didn’t fall our way but regardless our list looks very light on going forward.
After Geelong won the flag in 22, they were able to rejuvenate their list straight away. It didn’t pay dividends last year but they look well placed for another crack. Swans, with academy the same. What can we do I wonder?
