Subject: Reckon close to half the pundits had he Lions for the flag this year in preseason...

Was almost insulting how many seemed certain we would dip and they would be the ones to hoist the cup.

Well, neither side has set the world on fire so far this year, but so far this year we are the better team.

Also notable how somehow Essendon's draw with us makes them a good team and proves they have one of the best midfield in the comp and blah blah blah, but our draw with them proves we are over the hill and have to many 30+ players and blah blah blah.

We are yet to put together a 4 quarter performance this year and some of our best are well below par right now.

Reckon next Friday night may decide if we are still in it or it's time to "play the kids".
