Clearly Adelaide played well. Not disputing that.
And when I say 'not that good', I see Adelaide as one of about six teams likely to battle for the last two spots in the eight (along with my mob).
In terms of ability, North should be better than that - the next group up, but under Hawthorn. But they put in some bewildering performances periodically - more so than any other top six side. It's like some weeks they decide they want to zone off and refuse to put pressure on the bloke with the ball. And I'm wondering how often that tactic actually works for them.
