Subject: *Leads out Eldora, all tacked up.*

*Kath was taking Eldora into the arena to continue her education. Since joining up with her, Eldora had learnt extremely quickly, learning one thing then anticipating the next. Kath had had a lot of fun teaching the firey 3-yr-old. Soon she would be ready to leave the ranch and persue a life with Jenn. Kath was teaching the filly western, as that was the more comfortable of western and english. Kath had taught her basically everything, and the filly responded to clicks, kisses and whistles. The training sessions now were mainly reinforcing what the filly had already learnt. Kath mounted and got the filly warmed up before asking for a canter. The filly responded, striding out and well balanced. When asked to slow to a trot, the filly slowed immediately. Kath then dismounted and set up the barrels. Took the filly to the gate set up at the end of the arena and rode her into it. Stood the filly next to the rear of the small stall with her finger on a button. Kath pushed the button and the gates flung open. Eldora jumped out eagerly and spun when the rein left her neck. Kath pulled the filly up at the end of the run and checked her watch. The filly was ready for competition. Kath would just call Jenn first before entering her in anything. Kath took the filly back to the barn, untacked her, rubbed her down then went inside to call Jenn.* Hello, Jenn, it's Kath here. I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind coming down and having a look at Eldora. She's not hurt or anything, she's just going really well and is ready for a competition. So if you want to come down in a few days that would be good. Okay, bye! *Kath hung up then went back out to the barn.*
