Subject: Mr CHAPMAN

I remember dear Mr Chapman from the first days of heeley workshop. He was a real gentleman and we spoke many times I was the youngest of the group My grandfather was a cobbler on valley road and his brother owned a shop on Springwood road their name was QUIBELL as my maiden name was. I have all the old tape schedules which we recorded at the time and most of the old magazines. These were memorable days for me as I love history of my ancestors. I used to see Mr Chapman going for his daily star to the news shop at Heeley Green on many occasions When I married in1964 we lived in the baker house on Oak Street my aunty Letty and uncle Arthur Grainger lived nexed door What memories
