Subject: BROOKES FAMILY

Does anyone have any knowledge of my great, great-grandfather, George Brookes who was born in 1859 and lived in Kent Rd, Midland Rd and later with his daughter in Glover Rd ? He lived well into his nineties and was apparently known as " the grand old man of Heeley". He had 13 children, one of whom was Selina ( known as Lena ), my great grandmother.
