Subject: Heeley History Workshop

The Heeley History Workshop has realised that a lot of e-mails have not been responded to and some of them go back over the last 18 months.

Please rest assured that the group are now dealing with this and are endeavouring to get a reply to everyone who still has the same e-mail address. This process will take a week or two as there are so many people to write to. Be patient.

Any new enquiries borne out of frustration may be sent via mrs.edwards@btinternet.com and these will be passed to the Chairperson of the Heeley History Workshop. We do hmold regular meetings at the old school off the top of Myrtle Road, Heeley. Every Monday 2ish to 5ish (except Bank Holiday Mondays). You will be very welcome. Perhaps you will pop along to the Parish Church at Heeley on the 21st June 2002 12-5pm. There will be a wonderful display in the church itself and the first book Heghlegh Then and Heeley Now will be available and you should watch out for the group's new book, which hopefully will be published before the end of this year - God willing.

The first book was such an excellent read and we are sure you will not be with the new one.

Once again on behalf of the Workshop, please accept apologies if you have not had a reply to your e-mail and do get back in touch one way or the other.
