I lived on Gleadless Rd from 1940 to late 1960's.
I had a mate called Barry Robinson who lived in the first yard down Cambridge Road on the left hand side. Another family in this yard were the Thompsons and another one were the Johnsons (related to me) although their address was actually Kent Road. Last I heard of Barry (20 years ago) he was living on the Greenhill Estate.
