Richard's farm -- Heeley History Workshop

Richard's farm

Hello,

I am doing my family tree and my grandfather was born in Heeley & in the 1901 census they were living "Cottage Paddock Farm" while his grandfather was living at "Paddock Farm", I imagine that it was one house next to each other.

My aunt mentioned to me that he was always saying that he was raised on Richard's farm and I also found in the trades directory for 1910 that my gr. grandfather was a milk dealer living at 109, Richards Road Heeley, Sheffield. At my amazement last week, I found that a farm does exist in Heeley called Richard's Farm.

So my question is does anybody know anything about this farm please, I have written to them but they can't help me on this subject on knowing if it was the same farm or something completly different. Any suggestions of where I could get this information or somebody would know of this farm would be appreciated.
