Subject: All My Boardies, Episode 2x07 - Pass It On

Special Guest Star TomSmeagol. Guest Starring Gemma, Dd, Phaedra, Steven S, Joe Camel, with Simon, and Toothy.

Scene opens where we last left off, in Gemma's restaurant. Toothy smiles, and again asks Salty what she's going to do now. Salty asks Toothy how he got hold of LB, and he says that it was simple, really. He anticipated that they would go after BSA, and he sent an operative round to make sure that it didn't happen. He turns to Gemma, and casually tells her that BSA is out of the picture, just so she's aware. Gemma looks disgusted, and asks him if that means Toothy had him killed. He shrugs, and says that he did what was necessary. BSA was weak, anyway, none of the other Directors are likely to miss him. Then he turns back to Salty, and says that she really hasn't got any other choice. She kills Toothy, LB will go boom-boom, and eventually another Director will turn up in his place. If she lets him go.... well, then at least they're back where they started, which is a whole lot better. Salty asks him how she can be sure he'll let LB go if she does the same for him, and Toothy cocks his head, and says that she knows Toothy well enough by now to know that he is nothing if not a man of his word. Besides, an unnecessary murder such as LB's would only serve to draw attention to him and his associates, and at a time like this that wouldn't do. He walks a couple of steps closer to Salty, and tells her that she knows what to do. She looks at him for a moment, then lowers the gun. She looks over at Gemma, and apologises. Gemma, looking straight at Toothy, says that she has nothing to be sorry for. Toothy takes the gun from Salty, and empties the bullets out on the floor. He tosses the gun into the corner, says goodbye to the women, then leaves. The CCTV cuts out too, and Salty collapses on the floor, in tears. Gemma rushes to comfort her, as we fade out.

Scene opens in a motel room. Two bodies are in a bed, making love. As the camera travels slowly up the bodies, they climax, and we see that it's AngelX and Simon. He rolls over, onto his back, and pulls a reluctant AngelX closer to him. He asks why she spent the night, but she doesn't answer. He carries on talking, saying it doesn't matter why she did, but he's glad. He kisses her forehead, and AngelX makes a face of disgust. She sits up, and pulls the sheet round her, getting up. She walks into the bathroom, and Simon lays on the bed, stretched out. When she returns, she looks over at him, and he asks her if she's ready to go again. AngelX throws the sheet at him, and tells him that she needs to be at the office. She starts putting on her clothes, and Simon sits up in bed, saying that she should check her mail when she gets there. AngelX stops dressing, and asks what he's doing. Simon looks at her, confused, and says that he's just about to take a shower. AngelX clarifies that she doesn't mean right now, but with the whole Shrub thing. Why is he giving her information that could destroy him? Simon comes up behind AngelX, and starts to massage her shoulders. He whispers to her that nothing she will found out can be traced back to him, so he has nothing to worry about. As for why he's doing it... He trails off, and heads into the bathroom. AngelX watches him close the door, then goes back to changing.

In ABM's office, he and Dandy are sitting, discussing her night with Joe Camel. ABM says that he doesn't know what to do, this guy won't listen to reason. Dandy says really, he shouldn't, after all they are the ones trying to cover up a double homicide. Dandy says that there's only one thing she can think of left to do, and she pauses as she looks at ABM. He looks at her back, and nods. He finishes her sentence, saying that they have to pay him off. Dandy looks surprised, and ABM asks her what the problem is. She regains her posture, and says that it was nothing. He leans forward, and asks her why she looked so surprised when he mentioned bribery. Dandy looks sheepish, and leans in closer to him, whispering that she was thinking about bumping off Joe Camel. Its ABM's turn to be stunned, as he asks Dandy how she could even consider such a course of action. He reminds her that Joe's the good one in this scenario, and that if they kill him, they really will be going to Hell. Dandy sits back, and sullenly states that it was just a suggestion. ABM calms down, and says that he knows that, its just that everything's so up in the air at the moment. Dandy takes his hand, and says that she'll get on the phone to Toothy, see if they can get the hush money from him. She gets up to leave, and as she does so, she bumps into AngelX, coming down the corridor. Dandy notices that she's wearing the same clothes as yesterday, and says as much. AngelX says that her washing machine broke, as she storms into her office. Inside, StormCellar is waiting, and says that they need to talk. AngelX irritatingly asks what it is now, and Stormy, a bit put-off by AngelX's tone, says that Eurydice skipped town a couple of days ago. She didn't have time to get some on Eury's tail, so unless Eury comes back to the Boards in the next few days, they are essentially screwed. AngelX asks if Stormy can call up her contacts in the nearby provinces, and Stormy says that she'll give it a shot. As Stormy leaves, she turns back to AngelX, and asks if everything's OK with her. AngelX hurriedly says that everything's fine, she's just got a load on at the moment. Stormy leaves, after a silent moment. Just then, she gets a phone call. When she picks up, she recognises Simon's voice on the other end. He tells her to look in the roof, and then he hangs up. AngelX looks at the reciever, puzzeled, then puts it down. She lays back in her chair, and glances up at the roof - and sees one of the tiles is slightly out of place.

Wolfshrub is lying in the dark, facing the wall. Just then, a door opens, and two men come into her room. She turns her head, and recognises Steven S and SeaBoy. She turns back to the wall, and tells them to get out. Steven says that TomSmeagol wanted them to check on her, and to leave her some things. He puts a tray down at the foot of the bed, and then leaves. Wolfshrub sits up, and sees that Steven's left her dinner. She notices that SeaBoy is still in the room, and asks what he's doing here. He says that they have work to do. Wolfshrub begins to eat the food, and says that she doesn't know what he's talking about. He gets up, and begins to pace around, and asks if she remembers the prophecy. Wolfshrub stops eating, and asks if TomSmeagol is still banging on about that thing. SeaBoy looks her straight in the eyes, and says that their child is the one in the prophecies, but that the first one was inadvertently lost. He comes up to Wolfshrub, who gets a look of horror in her face. She asks him if he's really going to do this, and SeaBoy looks at her, saying that he has to. It was why he was created, it's his sole purpose for being here. Wolfshrub looks confused, then asks him if he's another clone. He nods, and says that there's an entire line of SeaBoy clones - 7 in total, including the original, now-deceased one. He puts his hands on her shoulders, and slams her down on the bed. He straddles her, and leans into her neck. She tries to fight him off, but he holds her down. Just then, he begins to whisper to her. He tells her that he is her friend, and if she wants to make it out of here alive, then she has to trust him. He begins to under her trousers, and she still resists. He whispers to her again, saying that TomSmeagol has fitted the room with cameras, he'll be watching. If she just goes along with it, he won't do anything to her - they've just got to act it out. Wolfshrub looks into his eyes, confused, and he pleads with her just to do as he says. She nods slightly, and he takes off his pants and trousers.

At Morgain's house, Amber is sitting in the living room. She is on the phone, and seems nervous. On the other end, ABM is explaining that he and Dandy are going to offer Joe money to keep quiet. Amber asks if it will work, and there's silence. She asks again, and ABM says that they're not sure, but as of this moment, it's their only option. Eventually, she agrees, saying that if he's sure thats all they can do, then she'll go with it. He tells her that Dandy's meeting with Toothy to secure the amount, and then they'll arrange a meet with Joe. He asks if she wants to be there, but she declines, saying she'd rather wait it out. ABM says that its probably for the best, and then he hangs up, telling her he'll call her when everything's done. Amber puts the phone down, and stares out the window. Just then, she hears a key in the door, and she rushes to the front door - to see Morgain stumbling in. She looks up, and sees Amber standing there, and meekly says hi. Amber asks where she's been, and Morgain says that she had some business to take care of. Morgain walks off into the kitchen, with Amber trailing. She asks Morgain why she's been going out all night lately, and Morgain reiterates that she's had business. Amber is silent for a moment, then tells her that her physio called, she's missed a few sessions recently. Morgain glares at Amber, and asks her why she's asking her so many questions. Amber says that she's just worried, she just wants to know that Morgain's OK, especially after the explosion. Morgain looks down for a moment, then back up at Amber, saying that its her new meds, they're throwing her system out of whack. She's just trying to get used to them, that's all. She chugs down a glass of water, then pours another one. She brushes past Amber, saying that she needs some sleep. Amber watches her trundle up the stairs, a concerned look on her face.

In the main entrance of the office complex, Dandy walks in with a suitcase. ABM comes out from behind the front desk, where Phaedra is sitting, and asks Dandy if thats the "offer". She glances over at Phaedra, who is pretending that she isn't listening, and nods. ABM tells her that he's arranged a place and time with Joe, and he needs Dandy to be watching. He hands her a small case, and she asks whats in it. He tells her that it's surveillance equipment - binoculars, and an earpiece with microphone, of which he has the other one. They switch, ABM taking the money and Dandy taking the small case. She says that she needs to go home first, and that he can pick her up from there. They kiss, and ABM leaves. Dandy is just about to go too, when Phaedra stops her, and asks what's going on. Dandy says that there's nothing to be concerned about, but Phaedra refuses to believe that. She asks Dandy what ABM's up to, but before she can reply, AngelX calls Phaedra into her office over the intercom. Dandy smirks, and says that "mommy's calling". Dandy leaves, as Phaedra heads into AngelX's office. Once inside, she takes a seat, and AngelX says that she's got something to show her.

In Wolfshrub's room, she and SeaBoy are putting their clothes back on. Suddenly, the door opens, and TomSmeagol walks in, followed by Steven S. He congratulates them on their first steps, and says that he hopes their co-operation can continue well into the future. Wolfshrub doesn't look up at TomSmeagol as he's talking. TomSmeagol smiles, saying that he'll leave them alone, to... "bask". He and Steven S leave, closing the door behind them. Wolfshrub asks what the deal is with him, but SeaBoy doesn't know what she means. She says that in the hospital, he was near-invincible. She wants to know what's going on with him. SeaBoy looks confused, and says he doesn't know what she's talking about. She tells him what happened during the shooting, that he got shot, but soon after was fit enough to trash the hospital and murder SeaBoy. He looks at her, shocked, and says the he'll try and find out what the deal is. He puts his hand on her shoulder, and asks if everything is OK, after what just happened. She glances over at the bed before answering, but eventually she turns back to him, saying that she understands why they had to pretend. She just hopes they can keep it going for long enough, they don't want TomSmeagol suspecting that they aren't actually having sex. SeaBoy says that he's working on a plan to get out, but that it may take a while longer, with this new information of his invincibility. He kisses Wolfshrub on the forehead, and says he'll be back later. SeaBoy leaves, as Wolfshrub watches him go.

Over at Gemma's restaurant, ABM comes up the door. He knocks, and Gemma lets him in. They greet each other, and ABM thanks her for letting him use the veranda at such short notice. She says that its not a problem, and asks if he can give her hand moving a table and some chairs out there for him. He puts his jacket and the suitcase down, and takes one side of a table. Once they're outside, he gestures in at Salty and LB, who are sitting at the bar. He asks if everything's OK, as LB and Salty are simply sitting there, in each other's arms. Gemma sighs, and says that they had a bit of a situation last night, but it's all resolved. Well, mostly. ABM asks if it's anything he can help with, but Gemma says that its best not to drag anyone else into it. He says that its fine, but if she does need his help, she just has to call him. Gemma smiles, and they go back inside.

At Dandy's apartment, she walks out of the bathroom, having changed into a trouser suit. She picks up the earpiece, and puts it on, adjusting the microphone so that its at the right angle. She takes the binoculars, and dumps them in her handbag, and is just about to leave, when she glances over at her bed. She stops, and goes back over. She kneels down, and pulls out a big black case suitcase from under her bed. She opens it, and inside is her sniper rifle. She contemplates something for a moment, then slams the case shut, and picks it up. She gets out her mobile, and calls ABM. When he answers, she tells him that she's going to be a bit late, so if he tells her where to be, she'll go straight there. He asks her what's holding her up, and Dandy says that it's just Toothy stuff, nothing that can't be resolved soon. ABM says that he's meeting Joe outside Gemma's, so if she can be at the MNA building, and position herself on either the third or fourth floor. Dandy says she'll be there, then hangs up. She grabs the sniper rifle, then leaves.

In AngelX's office, she and Phaedra are listening to a recording. It's a phone call, but the voices have been played through a voice-changer. We recognise it as the phone call RJA made to Toothy last season. When it finishes, AngelX asks if there's any way Phaedra can decode the voices back into their original states, so that they can trace the people making the call. Phaedra says that there's a possibility, but it might take her a while. She sits back, and asks AngelX where she found it. She points up, and Phaedra looks up to see numerous tiles out of place. She asks AngelX how it got up there, and AngelX says that she isn't sure, but she has her suspicions. She passes Phaedra a note, saying that she found this with it. On it, is written the words "Wouldn't want to make things easy for you". Phaedra asks if this is pertaining to the phone call, and AngelX says that she assumes so. Phaedra takes the CD out of the drive, and says that she'll get working on this right away. As she leaves, Stormy comes into the office. AngelX asks if she's gotten any further with locating Eury, and Stormy says that she pulled in a favour from Sharky. Eury's over at The Gen Board. AngelX gets up, and is about to leave, when Stormy says she should hear who she's with - RJA. AngelX grabs her coat and car keys, and says that they're gonna be taking a trip up there. As they leave, Stormy asks what Phaedra was doing, and AngelX says she'll fill her in on the way up.

Over at Morgain's, there's a knock at the door. Amber comes to answer it, and she opens it to find Dd standing there. Dd is surprised to see Amber, and says that she didn't expect her to be back here. Amber pouts, saying that she didn't expect to see Dd here either. Just then, Morgain comes down the stairs, in different clothes, and is about to leave with Dd, when Amber drags her back into the house. Morgain tells Dd to wait in the car, and Dd does so. Amber asks Morgain what she's doing, and she replies that she's just going out for a little bit. Amber asks if she knows that Dd's a drug dealer, and Morgain says that she doesn't have a problem with it - but she's curious to know how Amber knows that little factoid. Amber says that Dd deals to a lot of the guys on campus, and that she's even bought off Dd a few times - until an E tablet put one of her friends in a coma. Morgain goes to leave, and says that thats a tough break, but it isn't going to happen to her. Amber grabs her again, and says that Morgain should be careful. She shrugs Amber off, and says that she's a grown woman, she can come and go, with whom, when she pleases. She walks out the door, into Dd's waiting car. Amber watches them drive off, then grabs her coat. She takes some keys off the rack next to the door, and leaves the house, jumping into Morgain's car.

Dandy drives through the town centre. As she drives past Gemma's restaurant, she glances over to see Salty, LB, ABM and Gemma inside. She continues on, until she stops outside the Caption Hotel. She walks in, carrying the black suitcase. She goes up to the front desk, and requests a room for the night. She glances back over at Gemma's, until the desk porter hands her a key. She takes the key, and goes over to the lifts.

Up in the room, she immediately goes over to the window. Looking out, she sees she has a perfect view of the restaurant's veranda. She begins to set up the sniper rifle, positioning it just inside the room, pointing down at the veranda. She closes the curtain, grabs the key, and then leaves.

Back at the restaurant, ABM sees a car pull up outside - Joe Camel steps out of the car. ABM walks out onto the veranda, with Gemma watching from inside. The two men shake hands, and they sit. Joe asks why ABM wanted to meet him, he knows that there's nothing they can do to stop him from going to the police. Just then, Dandy's voice comes over ABM's earpiece, telling him that she's in place. ABM glances to his right, and sure enough, over in a third floor window of the MNA building, there Dandy is, looking out on him with the binoculars. ABM turns back to Joe, and he says that he was hoping to be able to remedy the situation. He puts the briefcase down on the table, and spins it towards Joe. He looks at it with disgust, and asks ABM what it is. ABM tells him that he must be able to guess, and Joe sits back, saying he can't be bought off. ABM tells him to look in the briefcase, the amount they're offering is very... agreeable. Joe spins the briefcase back across the table, saying that he won't sell out, not to anyone. He stands, and asks ABM why he's protecting a murderer. ABM says that it's all just a big misunderstanding, and he's just trying to make things go away before it gets messy. He asks Joe to stay, and consider the offer. As ABM continues to talk with Joe, the camera pans back across to the MNA building - Dandy's not there. Back at the table, Joe grabs his coat, and tells ABM that as soon as he gets back to his motel room, he's calling the police. Now that they've implicated themselves in the cover-up. As he walks away, ABM begins to plead with him, when suddenly three shots ring out. Joe's body spasms, and falls to the ground. ABM looks around, shocked, and screams down his earpiece to Dandy, that there was a shooter. He tells her to get looking, as he runs over to Joe, joined by Gemma, and they roll over his body - two shots in his chest, one in his head. ABM looks around frantically, as the blood spills out, and the camera flips back to a view of Dandy, in the hotel room, standing behind the sniper rifle, watching the events unfold in the courtyard below.

In the aftermath of the shooting, Dandy implicates Toothy - but will she get away with it?

Amber follows Morgain to Dd's house, and witnesses a horrific event - can she convince Morgain that she's getting into something way too deep?

AngelX and Stormy drive to confront Eury and RJA, but find something else in their place - is AngelX's affair about to be blown wide open?

Phaedra manages to decode the audio file, and is surprised to hear a familiar voice on the tape...

SeaBoy and Wolfshrub continue their attempts to escape from TomSmeagol's lair, but can they leave knowing his dark secret?

And, can I just say that I am little sweaty from the Simon/AnGelX scenes! Still laughing about "she's just got a load on at the moment" in reference in AnGelX.

Lord I hope not. Toothy, oh ho ho toothy, you and I are going to have a confrontation sometime soon. Having explosives strapped to you can leave you with a bit of a grudge.... ;)

Great Scott, this is more fun than General Hospital used to be during the Luke and Laura days. And, yes, I think Salty is definitely moving toward a daytime Emmy. *grin*
