Subject: All My Boardies, Episode 2x08 - The Easy Way
Special Guest Star TomSmeagol. Guest Starring Dd, TGWShark, Phaedra, Steven S, and Simon.
ABM is running down a hotel corridor. He keeps trying the doors as he goes along, but none of them are open. Up ahead, Dandy pokes her head out a door. When she sees ABM, she calls him into the room. He asks her she got here so fast, and Dandy says that while he was fussing with the ambulance, she came straight here. They look out the window, and an ambulance is driving away, while policemen question Gemma. Dandy picks up the sniper rifle, and says that when she got here, it was still set up, pointing out the window, but the shooter was gone. ABM looks at Dandy, and tells her that he knows who did this. She gets flustered for a moment, and begins to tell him that she didn't want him to get away, but he stops her before she gets anywhere, and says that Toothy did this. Dandy pauses, and then agrees with ABM, saying that Toothy would've hired someone to do this. ABM walks out, and Dandy follows, carrying the sniper rifle. He takes the sniper rifle from her, and begins to wipe it clean with his shirt. She asks him what he's doing, and he says that the police are going to want this for their investigation, and that he doesn't want things to get too complicated by getting Dandy involved. He'll think up a cover story for why he was meeting with Joe, and when he gets back from the station he'll give her a call. They reach the hotel lobby, and he kisses her goodbye, leaving Dandy standing in the lobby, watching as he heads over to the police barricade.

Over at Dd's, Amber slowly pulls up outside the gate. She sees Dd's car parked in the driveway, and watches as Morgain and Dd go into the house. She drives down the block, and parks her car. She gets out, and walks back up to the house. She stands at the gates, and looks around, until suddenly, there's a buzzing, and the gates slowly swing open. Amber looks around, but doesn't see anyone. After a moment of thinking, she walks through the gates, up to the house.
When she gets inside, she notices people everywhere. Mostly young people, but there are a few fortysomethings in the mix. She wanders slowly down the hallway, glancing in the rooms as she walks by - people are drinking, sharing bongs, and in one room they're all doing lines. Amber looks around nervously, and calls out for Morgain's name. She doesn't get a reply, but a man comes up behind her. It's Sharky, and he wants to know what Amber's doing in a place like this. She's surprised to see him, and asks what he's doing here. He holds up a spliff, and asks her what she thinks he's doing. She laughs nervously, and then Sharky takes her hand, and says that there's some people he wants her to meet. He takes her into one of the rooms, closing the door behind them.
In TomSmeagol's basement lair, SeaBoy enters Wolfshrub's room. He asks if she slept OK, and she says that she slept as well as could be expected. He hands her a tray of breakfast, and she takes it, eagerly drinking the OJ. She asks if he found anything out yet, and he replies that he did. He looks away from her, pausing. Wolfshrub puts the tray down, and asks what the matter is. SeaBoy looks back at her, and says that they have a really big problem. He doesn't go any further, so Wolfshrub pushes him for information. Eventually, he starts crying, and leans his head on her shoulder. Unsure what to do, Wolfshrub nervously pats his head, and then he sits up properly. He tells her that when TomSmeagol created the clones, he put a cyanide chip somewhere under their skin. He's not sure where, but if TomSmeagol thinks that he has betrayed him, then he'll remotely activate the chip, and cyanide will be released into his bloodstream. Wolfshrub looks horrified, and asks slowly how he found this out. He says that the papers were just left lying around, for anyone to see. Just then, the door opens, and Steven S walks in. He's smirking, and says that his plan worked perfectly. TomSmeagol comes up behind him, watching events proceed, and congratulating Steven S on a job well done.
Dd walks into her bedroom, followed by Morgain. She tells Morgain to make herself comfortable, and Morgain - who looks drunk - happily lays down on the bed. Dd disappears into the bathroom, and comes out with two guys - and a bag of coke. The guys get on the bed too, while Dd fetches a small silver platter. She turns it upside down on the bed, and pours some of the coke out. While she cuts it with a razor blade, Morgain canoodles with one of the guys, while the other guy caresses the first guy's neck. Dd watches on, a glint in her eye. After a moment, she taps Morgain on the shoulder, and hands her a rolled-up note. Morgain, looking like the old coke pro, takes the note, and eagerly sniffs up a line. Wiping her nose clean, she laughs, then lays down on the bed as the two guys do a line each. Dd gets up off the bed, and goes to the door. Morgain asks if she's not staying, and Dd says she has some business to attend to, but Morgain can stay for as long as she wants to, and with that she throws the rest of the bag of coke on the bed. As she leaves, Morgain starts undressing the two men. Dd closes the door, smirks, then heads on downstairs.
Dandy walks into the office complex, but doesn't see anyone around. She calls out for AngelX, but gets no reply. She knocks on both AngelX and Stormy's doors, but doesn't hear anything. Shrugging, she goes into her office. She sits down, and rests her head in her hands. She takes a deep breath, and goes over to a sink in the corner. She splashes her face with cold water, and then turns, leaning against the sink. Just then, her phone rings. She dashes to answer it, but is dismayed to hear that it's Phaedra on the other line. At this point, the screen splits in two - Dandy in her office in one half, Phaedra in a tech room on the other. Dandy asks her if she knows where everyone else went, and Phaedra says that AngelX left her a voicemail telling her that she and Stormy had gone up to The Gen Board for a day or two. Dandy asks if that makes her the defacto boss while they're out of town, but Phaedra says that AngelX left her in charge. Thats why she called Dandy, to let her know. Dandy forces a smile, and mockingly thanks her for the public announcement, before hanging up. We focus on Phaedra, who is trying to decrypt the voice-vocodering on the audio file. She tries it again, and suddenly the voices come out crystal clear - we hear RJA and Toothy. Phaedra squeals, then listens intently to what's being said. Once the audio finishes, she claps her hands, and says, to nobody in particular, that they have a breakthrough.
Over at The Gen Board, AngelX and Stormy get out of their car on the boardwalk. They spy RJA's beach bar, and walk up to it - it's closed. AngelX peers through the window, as she tells Stormy to go round back. Stormy obliges, as AngelX turns to look at the beach. After a minute, the door opens, and AngelX whirls around - to be confronted by Stormy. She says that the back door was open, and she let herself in. AngelX enters the bar, and Stormy closes the door. They look around - there isn't anybody else here. They look around, when Stormy finds the door to the office. They try to open it, but it's locked. AngelX looks around, and spies a fire extinguisher. She grabs it, and tries to smash open the lock, to no avail. She puts it down, and Stormy asks what they're going to do. Just then, they hear a voice behind them, and Simon's standing there, twirling a set of keys. He asks the ladies if this is what they're looking for.
In TomSmeagol's lair, he and Steven S stand in the doorway, confronting SeaBoy and Wolfshrub. Tom walks to the centre of the room, and says that he always knew not every clone could turn out like the first one - evil, through and through. He knew that most of them would have "feelings", which he punctuates with air quotes. He goes on to say that he had Steven S test him out, see where his allegiances lay - He turns to them, and says that now they know. SeaBoy says that what Tom's doing is wrong, and stands up, standing in front of Wolfshrub. Tom laughs, and says that it may be wrong, but its fate. He can't help it, none of them can. He goes to leave, and says that Steven S will stay, and make sure that they copulate. Just before he does so, Wolfshrub asks him how he does it. He stops, and asks her what he means. She asks him how he can be so strong, so invulnerable. It's inhuman. He smiles, and says that he has some friends in high places. Or, should that be low places. Very, very low. He laughs once more, then leaves, closing the door. Steven S stands, crossing his arms impatiently. He tells them that they sooner they get this over with, the sooner they can have lunch - and then they can do it again. SeaBoy tells him to get stuffed, and Steven S nonchalantly pulls out a gun, and points it at SeaBoy's head. He tells them to do it, now, or SeaBoy will get it. Wolfshrub begins to take her trousers off, but SeaBoy defies Steven S - who calmly shoots SeaBoy twice in the head. His body crashes to the ground, and Wolfshrub calls out in horror. She rushes to his body, as Steven S wipes his gun clean. He tells Wolfshrub not to worry, they'll just wake up another clone, and then they can get on with it once more. This is but a minor setback. He leaves, saying that lunch will be with her shortly.
Back at Dd's, Sharky and Amber are lying on bed. He's smoking a spliff, and she's looking uncomfortable. He tells her to take off her jacket, she'll feel a lot better if she just gets comfortable. Amber says that she's OK as she is, and sits up. She says that she only came here to find someone, and she needs to go. She stands up, and goes to the door. Sharky calls out that she can't leave, but she opens the door, ignoring him - and is confronted by another man, one she doesn't know. He semi-forces her back into the room, and closes the door. She asks what he's doing, and he pushes her onto the bed. Sharky hands this guy the spliff, then straddles Amber, saying that they just wanna have some fun. He pulls off his shirt, and Amber tries to push him off her. He leans over her, smelling her, when suddenly the door opens. All three of them turn, and see Dd standing in the doorway. She asks if everything's OK, and Amber finally manages to push Sharky off her. She runs to the doorway, and tries to get past Dd, who grabs her arm. She tells Amber not to go anywhere fast, and smiles at her.
At RJA's bar, AngelX and Stormy ask Simon what he's doing here. He puts the keys in the office door, and opens it. He swings the door open, and gestures for the two women to enter. They do so, reluctantly, as AngelX repeats the questions. Stormy asks how he has keys to the place, and Simon says that the former proprietor was looking to skip town quickly, and needed the cash. He stepped in, bought the bar. AngelX asks if that means RJA's left town, and Simon says that if that was the guy who owned this place before, then yeh. He's gone. He sits on the desk, smiling innocently. Stormy rushes him, slamming him down on the desk. She tells him that they've had enough of running in circles for him, and it's time he just came clean about everything. Why he's helping them, why he's hindering them. Simon laughs, and says that he has his motives, but they aren't their concern. AngelX pulls Stormy off him, and she goes to stand by the door, seething. AngelX asks him why he let RJA go, when he was sending herself and Stormy the means to find him. He repeats that he has his own agenda, and that they shouldn't worry. Everything will work out. Suddenly, AngelX's phone rings. She walks out to answer it, leaving Stormy and Simon staring at each other.
Outside, AngelX talks to Phaedra, who informs her of the audio. She says that it's definetly RJA ordering the hit, and that he's talking to Toothy. AngelX asks if she's sure, and then plays the audio back to her. AngelX thanks her, and hangs up. She goes back into the room, and tells Simon that they've got proof that Toothy, Dandy and RJA are all involved in this. That's enough to go the police. She tells Stormy that they're leaving, and for her to go wait in the car. Stormy leaves, and AngelX shuts the door. Simon asks if she wants one for the road, and begins to take off his shirt. She tells him not to bother, and then says that this was all about Toothy, wasn't it. He innocently smiles, and says he doesn't know what she's talking about. She reminds him that he once told her that the trail doesn't lead back to him, so he doesn't mind helping them out. And with Toothy out of the way, Simon would be next in line for his position. Plus it wouldn't hurt to finally clear up the whole Shrub shooting mess, would it. Simon smiles, and says that he was wondering when it would all click into place. He stands up, and says that he just wants what any self-respecting businessman would want - to get ahead. AngelX asks what manipulating her to sleep with him has to do with his plan, and he replies that it doesn't - he just likes sleeping with her. He kisses her, and against her better efforts she melts into him, kissing him back. They begin to get a bit more passionate, but AngelX stops him, saying that Stormy's waiting. She leaves, and Simon calls out that he'll see her back home.
Back at Dd's, she takes Amber, and pushes her into the bathroom. She closes the door and locks it, turning to Amber. She asks what she was thinking, coming here. Amber says she was just looking out for her friend. She asks where Morgain is, and Dd angrily says that that was none of her concern. Amber says that it should be hers, because if Morgain doesn't leave with her right now, then she's going to press charges of attempted rape. Dd laughs, and tells Amber that she wouldn't have let anything happen to her. Amber says that she wouldn't have been able to stop it, but Dd says that she set it all in motion in the first place. Amber looks stunned, and Dd continues, asking Amber who she thought let her in. Once Dd knew Amber had followed them, she asked Sharky to scare her. That was all. She advances on Amber, and tells her that she shouldn't be here, what Morgain does here doesn't affect her. Amber says it does, because Morgain's her friend, and she hates seeing her get like this. Dd says that she really shouldn't be so sensitive about things, and unlocks the door. She tells Amber to get out. Amber asks after Morgain, and Dd says that Morgain will come home when she's good and ready. Amber walks out the door, as Dd watches her go.
At the office complex, Dandy sits in her office, when ABM walks in. She rushes to hug him, and asks how things went at the police station. He says that they asked a bunch of questions, but he thinks he fielded them "expertly", in his opinion. At any case, they don't suspect any dodgy dealings, and they're on the lookout for another suspect. Dandy asks what he told them, and he said he was just meeting with Joe, to buy some of his equipment. He kisses Dandy, and repeats that the cops don't suspect a thing. He suddenly stops hugging her, and says that they should start digging around, looking for the real shooter. Dandy tries to act natural, and asks why they should, if the police are. ABM says that if they can find him, or her, first, then they can try and find out why they did it. If the police get their first, they'll never know. He reaches for the phone, when suddenly Dandy puts her hand down on the catch. He looks up at her, and she says that she's got something to tell him. He slowly puts the reciever down, and nervously asks what she wants to tell him. Dandy pauses for a moment, then says that she knows who the shooter was. ABM looks shocked, and asks why she never mentioned this before. Dandy gulps, and says that she wasn't sure when to break it to him. He sits down, and then looks up at her, asking her who it was. Dandy fidgets, and is about to tell him, when ABM stands up, and says that it was Toothy. It's Dandy's turn to look shocked, and ABM exclaims that Toothy must have sent someone, to protect his money. He probably didn't want to part with that much money. Dandy falters for a moment, then agrees with ABM. They kiss, and Dandy apologises for keeping it a secret. He tells her not to worry, as he leaves, saying that he has to make a phone call. Dandy watches him go, a morose look on her face.
Later that night, a taxi pulls up outside Morgain's house. Morgain steps out, and hands over some money to the driver. He drives off, and she roots around in her bag for her keys. Giggling, she stumbles to the door, and opens it. Once she's inside, she closes the door, and slumps against it, slowly lowering to the floor. After a moment, she hears a voice. She turns, and sees Amber on the stairs. She's holding two big bags. Morgain asks if she's going on holiday, and Amber replies that she's just moving out for a while. She tells Morgain that she's into some really deep stuff, and only she can help herself. Amber tells Morgain to move out the way of the door, and she obliges, still not completely aware of what's going on. She asks Amber what's happening, and Amber tells her that she went to Dd's house today. What goes on there is tragic, but if Morgain wants to be a part of it, then there's nothing she, or anyone else, can do about it. She opens the door, and says that when Morgain's ready to come back to reality, give her a call. She leaves, and Morgain falls unconcious.
