I know this is a pageant board, but I would just like to ask everybody to give me just a little time to air out some frustration. I am a pageant mom, of course, and I know that a lot of us buy and sell on ebay. I would just like to encourage all of you to PLEASE leave feedback for these sellers and buyers. I recently got ripped off by a seller along with several other people, one of which is a friend of mine who I recomended this seller to. The problem is, not a lot of people will leave feedback for her because they are either afraid of retalliation, or just think it's not worth the effort because they think that it won't make a difference. Well, in my case at least, it would have. I research sellers before I spend my money, and had more people warned me about this seller, I wouldn't have gotten taken. I know that there are a lot of ways that they can get around the whole feedback thing like changing their user name, but if we are dilligent, we can make it harder for them to do this. Another thing I would like to ask everybody to do is to contact ebay and demand that they start a mandetory feedback policy. They could require that you leave feedback for every transaction, and if not left within a certain amount of time, you are blocked from buying or selling until you comply. This way, even people who think it's not worth their time to warn the rest of us would be forced to anyway. I know that some people may think this is going too far, but what these people do is stealing, and if someone broke into your house or snatched your purse, you wouldn't dream of just letting it go. You'd file a report. Well, it's the same on ebay. Not to mention you could stop someone else from being hurt.
