Thanks for the offer, Trudi. Here's a pile of woe you can burn for me (it's too darn windy here today to burn leaves).

My entire house is covered with dust from the tile removal in the kitchen, breakfast room and laundry room. They have to do more work than anticipated to prepare the subfloor, which equates to more time and money. My cats are quite unhappy with being confined to the bedroom/office but we cannot allow them to roam the house - too dangerous right now. George is working night shift and has had no sleep from the hammering noise. We are living in our bedroom, and have no kitchen (stove, microwave). I am just hoping that they complete the tile installation before we leave for Phila on Tuesday.

It is hard to prepare for a trip with no washer and dryer. I may be taking a load of laundry over to my friend's house, just so we don't have to pack dirty clothes in our suitcases.

With all the turmoil at home, I have not completed my midterm paper that is due tomorrow night. I should not have a problem finishing it this evening, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Remodeling always seems like a good idea, until you get in the midst of it....

Wow - I feel better already. Just toss that basketful of woe on the fire and burn, baby, burn!
