Diabla knew th' blow was coming, and that she could not avoid the bone-rattling ram, yet 'er mind was traveling faster. Spinning t' face the Raven just as they were to colide, visage is lowered. Perhaps, just perhaps, 'er razor dagger would hit home afore she was tossed aside.
Next thing she knew, 'er body was flung like a rag away from she. Labored breathing is only sign of movement for a countless moment as the bloodied form lies still.
I will not be beaten lying down like a common mule
Vixen thinks t' herself, forcing shaky pistons t' fold under she and bear her weight. Shaking 'er visage, a rain o' red comes from banners. The she-devil's tackle had hit, as a deep red gash now matched the one on 'er belly. Looking t' the other, 'er vision cannot focus. Has her last hit been true?
