Subject: tape swap

Hi everybody,
I'm a massive fan of Bonnie Prince Billy and Palace and lots of other alt-country american bands. I was looking at this website and I thought this would be a good place to post information about this tape exchange that i'm helping my housemates set up. We're basically doing it to help people share music around the world and make new friends. Please, please send us a tape, we'd be so grateful and you'd get something good back! tape swap

We have a tape tree. If you send us a compliation tape and a stamped addressed envelope, we will send you back another tape someone else has made. This is a good way of finding out about other music beyond your own record collection. Its difficult to sum up the type of music within the tape tree, but the type of music that we listen to is:
Belle and Sebastian, Uncle Tupelo, Smog, Whiskeytown, Pedro the Lion, Palace, Aislers Set, would-be-goods, American analog set, sodastream, camera obscura, cinerama, ballboy, stereo total, love, piano magic, moldy peaches, arab strap, zephyrs, dressy bessy, kicker, tompaulin, low, yo la tengo, delgados, gorky's, yummy fur, salako, songshio, galaxie 500, electrelane, sigur ros, go-betweens, silver mt zion, handsome family, bonny prince billy, rachels ... and loads more

Because we deal with ALL the tapes, you are guaranteed to get a tape back, and it will be good music.
