Subject: Attention Seniors!

Well, I've come to a conclusion about some things, and it's really making me think about the future. Whenever we get frustrated with ourselves or each other just think of how far we've come these 3+ years. Not just our talents, but ourselves. We've all grown so much since our freshman year-We've figured out what kind of person we should and shouldn't be, we've figured out who our true friends are and how it's so easy to be wrong about your decisions, but most of all we've figured all of these things out together. Each one of you has in some way been a part of my life and I thank you for that. I just thought that as the pressure gets greater instead of being frustrated with people we really need to start leaning on each other rather than falling away from everyone. It's getting rough thinking about all of our obligations and having time for everything. I've heard it from seniors before that they wish they had more time to spend with their friends, well let's make the best of what we have now before we miss it, because we all know we're going to. This is a few sections of the song "Under Pressure" all squeezed together cause it kinda describes the senior lifestyle right now. Just thought I'd let you know what I'm thinking and if anyone else is feeling the same way?
Under Pressure Words and music by Queen and David Bowie
Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure
That burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
Chippin' around
Kick my brains round the floor
These are the days
It never rains but it pours
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming let me out!
Pray tomorrow takes me higher
Pressure on people
People on streets
Turned away from it all
Like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love
But it's so slashed and torn
Why?
Insanity laughs under pressure we're cracking
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care
For people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way
Of caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves under pressure
Under pressure-

If no other part of these lyrics hit me, these did. That's like, the story of a senior year, realizing what it's REALLY going to be like, and having it scare you. And sadly enough, pretty soon we will be seeing our last dance, of high school anyway, who knows what we'll be doing after that. I'll miss you guys!
