..she put it back down on the chair to sleep. She put the milk away, then said quietly so the baby wouldn't awake, "Just being my friend is more than enough, Devonny. You have no idea what you've done for me. Without you, I would still be at Whia's castle, in a cell.." She thought about teh day they got free, and how she morphed into her other body, shuddering softly as she remembered Maln and Josan, an in-human growl escaped her lips, it was a fairly loud growl, and it awoke the baby. She closed her eyes, trying to contain the beast within her as she made "shhh"ing sounds to quiet the infant once again.
