The main character in this story is Martin Chop. I chose the name as a tribute to the former Press Relations Officer for the Pentagon in the year I was born, Al Chop. Mr. Chop was assigned to Project Blue Book and was present in the Control Tower at Washington National Airport in July of 1952 to actually see the odd blips that appeared on the radar screens there. The official explanation of a "temperature inversion" causing the strange blips may or may not have been Mr. Chop's creation. Every attempt will be made to try to contact him in regard to this.
Martin Chop is the fictional son of this famed reporter/spokesman. He, like the author, would have been born under the sign of this strange visitation.
