Before the horrible tragedy, I thought New York City and New Yorkers were cold and heartless. Unfortunate that all you remember is the bad and not the good. But I can remember hearing story after story of the firefighters and police officers, rescue workers, hospital staff... everyone who was selflessly going into the pits of Hell. I wept not only for those who were lost but for all those saintly enough to try and find them. I will never again fear New York City or the people who dwell there. You all are truly our heros! The ones who do what we cannot! Blessed be!
