I attended an event at Blondies Restaurant Thurdsay night for this ladder which lost seven of it's men. It was hosted by Carolyn Hinsey a soap opera magazine publisher and tons of soap opera stars in the NY area attended and tended bar for the men in uniform. It was a great way for the actors to contribute and an even better way for the firemen to just have a good time and get away for a bit.

Hope more firehouses are doing the same. Not forgetting, but just getting away from it for a while.
