I have a special request to one of the firemen in the picture raising the American flag. I know you don't know me, but I haven't gone a day when I haven't thought about you. I have that picture of you and your brothers raising the American Flag, with you standing on the extreme left in a book I have here at home. I admire you and want to get to know you. I know you've been put through a lot, and not a day goes by when I don't break down and cry. It can happen anywhere, anytime. I wish I could hold all of you close and take the pain. I wish it were me. I will always have the FDNY in my heart. Just a few words from a song that I dedicated to the FDNY:

"There's a better place, where our Father waits, and every tear He'll wipe away. The darkness will be gone, the weak shall be strong. Hold on to your faith. There will come a day."
