Please know that our thoughts are with you and with all the victims. I am a Ben & Jerry's franchisee and we have been doing benefits to raise money to send to NYC. One event, Fire and Ice was so awesome, USA Today recognized me. (oct 24, 2001). We raised over $3200. We gave the ice cream away and had our local firefighters serve as celebrity hero scoopers. They brought old boots and we filled them over and over. Our local high school marching band came out (80 of them) to show their support and to commence the festivities with our national anthem. Elementary school children sang patriotic tunes as well.

So, even though we are 3000 miles away, our hearts are right there.
