Subject: Thomason up for OSU and other speculation

Here are some interesting tidbits from an article on today's Prepwesthoops.com.

In regards to the opening at Oregon St.

"Cal State Northridge coach Bobby Braswell is being mentioned as a strong candidate to replace McKay at Oregon State. Also in the mix are Arizona assistant Jay Johns and Pacific head coach Bob Thomason."

In regards to a possible transfer.

"Point guard Joe See will transfer from Oregon State, more than likely ending up at Santa Clara or Pacific."

I think it's nice that Coach T is being mentioned for a high profile coaching position, yet I don't get the feeling he'll be a finalist. Hopefully he can leverage this into a more lucrative contract at Pacific. As far as Joe See is concerned I don't think we need another point guard right now, plus Joe reminds of a Nathan Davis with a better jumper.
