Restless as he was, circled the night sky, thinking of nothing but his upcoming mission. He'd heard nothing of Cypress, who was already on Cybertron. Given that Aori had given him no in depth information on the issue currently at her disposal, he was very nervous of leaving his home planet, although he had in the past... He only knew that as a guardian of the Universe, it was his duty to see that any inhabited planet not come to harm, or to insure that any planet that could produce life remain intact. It had been many cycles (having different extensions of time for their worlds, where the sun sets at different times each day, making years unpredictively long or short) since their planets had come into the sight of the inner planets of the Universe, this alone made him and several other inhabitants of the planets tense. This had never happened in his lifetime, even though besides Aori, he was one of the oldest inhabitants of Air. His wings were still strong as steel, and his fur still gleamed of youthful shine, he wasn’t completely immortal, but like all inhabitants, he retained the traits of one age of his preference throughout his lifetime, and can only die from outside causes, and not from old age.

His aimless circling brought him through the clouds as the intermittent flash of lightening gleamed through the sky. He dove toward it without thinking, afterward wondering what provoked him to do so. He found himself in the path of an electric bolt aimed at a creature that other than his massive size appeared mostly quiescent. Intercepting the bolt on his right wing, the wolf with years of experience on Air, absorbed the electricity with a jolted stance, sending him hurtling backward into the toward the flabbergasted dragon…
