The trees themselves seemed to whisper in an ancient, forgotten tongue. Silent memories, the branches swaying lightly. An uttered curse as a twig snapped, only meant to throw the couple off. Poison dart speeding toward Keiran, but shot as though the 'hunter' knew he could catch it. Two voices whispering, seeming to come from everywhere. Seeming to reanact a scene from Nary's past* "We can play checkers, or hide-and-go-seek." "Checkers is fine with me" "Ha!" *Silent whispering 'I love you''s said only in someone's mind, only thoughts. The same dark shadow, the trees swaying gently. Soft, quiet, rasping voice, invisible hand touching Nary's face. Invisible lips brushing her ear softly.* "I asked you to meet me in the pound. You never came. Too bad for you."
