Subject: The Way Love Goes

All was quiet at 2773 Bardlow when thhe sound of keys entering the lock broke the silence. The lights came on, and once again Rachel arrived to an empty home. She was tired of quiet nights at home. Ever since her long time relationship with Tony ended on a bad note.

*Flashback*

Rachel:*coming home to notice the lights off* Tony are you home? *no answer* Tony?

*Thud*

Rachel: What the hell?*goes to the closet to get Tony's bat and then slowly walks upstairs* Who is in my house thinking they can run game on me oh no no no. *gets to the top of the stairs and stops and hears a male voice coming from her room* Tony if you were up here the whole time, imma strike you for scaring me to death.*Walks to her room and opens the door* What the f*ck. Tony!!! Kevin!!!! Oh no, please tell me I am not seeing what I think I am seeing.

Tony: Baby let me explain.

Rachel: Explain what, you wasn't satisfied gettin it from the front, so you had to hit it from the back too. Oh wait, you like giving it and taking it.

Kevin: Oh no I definitely took it.

Rachel:I'm sure you did. Get the hell out of my house right now.

Kevin: Dang, ok miss thing. *looks at Tony* Call me.

Rachel: Oh no no no you got me twisted, he is coming with you cuz he damn sure ain't stayin here not no more.*Starts walking to the dresser and pulling out his clothes*

Tony: Baby what are you doing?

Rachel: Getting yo sh*t so you can get the f*ck out. I been reading too many damn E. Lynn books.

Kevin: Oh yea, I think he swings this way too.

Rachel:*her eyes turned cold* If you don't shut the f*ck up and get out right now, I swear you will be waking up in the hospital.*picking up an aluminum bat.* Tony get yo sh*t and roll out NOW!! *pushes him outside the door* The rest of your things will be on the street tomorrow, if you don't get them in time the trash man will get them for you.*slams the door shut*

*phone rings and Rachel comes back to the present.*

Rachel: Hello?*thumbin through her mail*

FV: Hey girl, how are you?

Rach: Hey Michele, I'm cool just reading my mail. What you gettin into tonite?

Neni(Aka Michele): Nothin Shad trippin again.

Rach: Mm what's new?

Neni: Anyway, me and Rissa bout go to go the club, you coming right.

Rach: Now you already know, I am not goin to nobody's drop it like it's hot club where the men try to holla at every female in the club, then when they call you they wanna run game, like they got their eye on you and you could be the one, then you fall for the sh*t and you find him in your house with the f*ckin boy who works in the mailroom at your firm. Uh uh I am too cool.

Nen: Obviously you need some company, cuz this bitterness is really botherin my tastebuds. I'm on my way.

Rach: No, that's not even necessary. I am bout to take a long bath and read my new book.

Neni: Not that Harris sh*t again, that's how you ended up with this situation now.

Rach: Shut up. Anyway, as you can tell I am fine, now I am going to run my bath, I will talk to you later.

Neni: Aight One.

Rach: Mmhmm 2. *they both hung up*

*1 hourlater*

*Phone rings*

Rach: *gets out the tub and wraps a towel around her and answers the phone* Hello?

Fv: Why you not answering the door?

Rach: *sighs* Because I was in the tub like I told yo ass. What you want?

Neni: Just let me in it's cold out here.

Rach: Hold on lemme get dressed.

Neni: Nigga throw a robe on and come on before I knock you out.

Rach: Mmhmm whatever.*hangs up and gets dressed then goes downstairs.*

Neni: *sees her thru the window* Hurry up my ass got frost bite.

Rach: *yelling* Shut up.*looks through the peep hole.* Who is it?

Neni: Ok see you know what, you going to make me kick the door down.

Rach: Try it and it's all over.*opening the door laughing* I see why you cold, it's winter and you ain't got no clothes on.

Neni: I told you we goin to the club.*closes the door after she walks in.* What you got to eat?

Rach: You are not a guest go look.

Neni: *going to the kitchen* You are in one of your moods I see.

Rach: Mmmhmm and what mood is that?*getting some apple juice*

Neni: That whole whoath me mood. Nobody loves me, so I am going to wallow in self pity.*getting some chips*

Rach: I am not wallowing in anything. I am just fine.

Neni: Really, then why is it always so dark in here.? Why dont' you open the windows and let some air in?

Rach: Because one, it's nite time, and two it's cold.

Neni: You playin games now, you know what I am talking about. *sits down on a stool at the eating area* Look, you know you are like my sister, but this Tony sh*t needs to stop. He did you wrong, and you didn't deserve it, but that's all done and over with there is nothing you can do to change it.

Rach:*sighs* Duhh.

Neni: Just listen big mouth. You know there's nothin you can do about it, yet you mope around the house like an old maid. *standing up and headed for the stairs* You need to get ya ass up and get dressed so we can twirk it on the dance floor.

Rach: Nen, look I know you are tryin to help, but I am fine really.

Neni: Ok then why are you still wearing the engagement ring? Why are his pictures still all over the house? Huh.

Rach: Ok is that what this is about? Fine. *pulls the ring off* Here ok are you happy?

Nen: It's not about me being happy, you know I am happy. It's about you.

Rach:*sighs* Look this did not happen to you ok, this happened to me.

Neni: Duhh. Rach look I know this happened to you, and I am not tryin to say you shouldn't have your low points, but that should consume your entire life.

Rach: Ok ok.

Neni: Ok what?*walking into her room behind her*

Rach: You want me to go out with yall, fine I will go out with yall. But I am not about to go out all the time and do this this and that.

Neni: I'm not asking you to. Hurry up shoot before ladies get in free is over.

Rach:*walks into her closet and mumbles* Cheap ass.

Neni: Whateva.

*Rach gets dressed, and her and Neni get Rissa and they head out to the club.*
