On the 30 March 2000 I had a very serious accident at work which left me sitting at home for a year and a half
recovering.
Being the outdoor type and one that likes to keep busy, this bored the life out of me,to one day my wife, with me looking over her shoulder was looking through some pages on the Internet.I asked her could she find me some information on Grandfather clocks,Like plans of how to build one,who could supply the workings and how much all this would cost.
In about three minutes she had all the information I needed,
sent away for the plans, got some American Walnut timber, the workings for the clock arrived two weeks later, and in three months time I had made two beautyfull Grandfather Clocks, one for myself and the other for my brother inlaw who supplied the timber.
In a couple of months later I began a course in computing for absolute beginners,it really has changed my life.
