I recall when Obama was riding high and there was some gloating from some of my more liberal friends regarding the political savvy of the Obama campaign, his invulnerability, the disarray of the Republicans, etc. to which I have consistently replied -- if he can turn the economy around he will be re-elected with ease, but if he can't he's in trouble. Well, he's in trouble. Instead of caring about the economy as his number one priority from day one he focused on health care. Instead of working to build a bipartisan consensus through give and take, he shoved Health Care down the Republicans throats. Now he needs them to work with him and even if there weren't an election about to take place his arrogance has created so much ill will on the other side of the aisle there's no way in hell he's going to get a damn thing done. Not that it matters much -- even the Democrats wouldn't vote for Obama's budget.

As for what Romney will do different -- this one thing alone will be HUGE.

Romney WILL impose tariffs on China and designate them a currency manipulator. PLEASE, take a trip to your local Walmart and walk down the aisle randomly checking where the products in the store were manufactured. Then think of how many more jobs there would be in this country if even 1/4 of all those goods were being made here instead.
