I'm sure a lot of Americans, me included, have a hard time believing that the Salt Lake Olympics forced Romney to walk away entirely from decisions that had such a direct impact on his considerable wealth. Maybe it's true, but still hard to believe.

I don't blame them for hammering that theme, in conjunction with highlighting his off-shroe accounts and calling on him to release his tax returns. Keeps the guy on the defensive and distracts from the issues Romney wants to present. At the end of the day, I doubt these issues will flip the election, but the tax return stuff is a good tactic because Romney obviously has not intention of doing it.

Having said that, I think the calling it a potential felony was beyond ridiculous. I'd bet they'd like a do-over on that comment (while at the same time not wanting to issue an apology because that would deflect the heat they are putting on Romney).
