... which of course doesn't change the fact that Solyndra was a "Bush legacy project" that moved over into the 1705 program straight from 1703 (created in 2005), where it eventually received this loan. The very same officials were on the DOE panel that reviewed & approved for both programs 1703/5.

I'm surprised you haven't started railing here about the market-manipulative $33bil Chinese government solar tech subsidies that undercut the solar panel market, basically sabotaging Solyndra & leading to their default.
