In high school he was a star athlete. He was in track, cross country, baseball, and footbal. He got scholarships and that's when he decided to persue his bullriding career. He married his high school sweetheart. And, he's riding tomorrow at the Majestic Valley Arena. His family is into rodeo big time. Hope this answers your questions.

On January 8, 2003, professional bull rider Beni Paulson's wife, son, daughter and mother-in-law were in a serious car accident. His wife, Lisa, and 6-week-old daughter were thrown from the car. His wife, Lisa, is in a sedated coma from which she may soon be released. His daughter, however, did not survive the accident. The fund will assist Paulson and his family with medical expenses. Try Bull Riding For those of you that are feeling the withdrawal because of the lack of excitement racing brings, you should try the Professional Bull Riding series. Some of the names of the men in the sport are enough to make you tune in. *Dusty LaBeth*, Cody Custer, Tater Porter and Spud Whitman are just a few. Gary Richard is a grandfather in a sport that uses men up by the time they are in their early 30's. It is not a sport where man meets machine but rather a sport where man and beast compete to see who is the best. Sometimes the bull wins and sometimes you would swear that the two are one and they perform like a well-oiled machine. The events are shown on NBC and OLN live this year. You can catch the next one on NBC this Sunday at 4:00 pm eastern. Benny Parson's didn't think they rode bulls in Connecticut but he was wrong. They ride bulls in Minnesota, Florida and even New Jersey.

I was very upset with the coverage of the Columbus open. CBS was to show the event at 4:30pm after a football game. They decided to show it before the football game. It started airing at 2:30pm. I missed the event because they aired it at the wrong time. I 'am VERY VERY UPSET with CBS. I hope us PBR fans let PBR know How upset we are as fans about the CBS timing error. I hope they(PBR) get this problem solved or they will have alot of fans VERY ANGERY. I never missed a PBR event on TNN because of timing errors.

They were alot of buck-offs and quite a few injuries. Paulo C. broke his free arm in three places, Gilbert C. broke his neck, Gary R hurt his shoulder, Cody H has a possible broken ankle, Pete H. hurt his ribs. I cant even remember all of the injuries.
